Some Pointers for Barcelona

  • Try the food - by far the best seafood, fried shrimp, calamari, and sangria you will ever have anywhere. Absolutely delicious coastline food for a reasonable price and well worth the trip. I would suggest anything close to the beach.  
  • Gaudi, Gaudi, Gaudi - His work is famous in Barcelona, including his famed cathedral and other works. Definitely worth tons of pictures and millions of words - it is an architectural marvel and very well worth the trip to see.
  • Ride the bus - Don't rent a car unless you are planning to see other places. The bus and walking are just a fantastic experience in the city.
